Review of the County Development Plan 2014

Cork County Council has commenced the preparation of a new County Development Plan for the period 2022-2028 in accordance with the steps set out in the Planning and Development Acts. The purpose of the Development Plan is to guide the future development of the county.

The Public Consultation Document and all background documents and Section 11(4) Chief Executive’s Report 28^th August 2020 are available for inspection and download at corkcoco.ie.

Section 31 – Ministers Direction on Variation No. 2 of the Cork County Development Plan 2014 (Retail Outlet Centres)

On the 23rd December 2020 the Minister for Local Government and Planning issued a Section 31 Direction on Variation No.2 of the Cork County Development Plan, 2014 (Retail Outlets Centres) confirming the previous Draft Direction.
